But there's no transition in color on the leaves to say its caused by the coming of Fall. The leaves are green and curling which could mean other things. The real tragedy here to be honest is the price for a 5g Persimmon tree, yesssh. Highest I've ever paid for a 5g DWN persimmon tree was $35.

I was going to say, if a pot bound tree that wasn't sold all summer isn't enough to make you pass, the price is!

My trees look like this, and they're in the ground (planted as bare roots last season). I've killed persimmons in the past so I was very happy to have 2 survive our punishing summer, but the leaves look exactly like those in your picture -- plus some tip burn, too. :-( I put down a bunch of gypsum to counter salts, but does anyone have ideas on what causes the leaf folding?
