White or Black Windows for 60s Remodeled Ranch

We are remodeling our 60s ranch home. We plan to add cedar beams and either paint the brick a cream white or limewash it. We are replacing windows. Our question is if we should paint our windows white or black for the exterior.

I'm going to the site today and make pictures. We are adding cedar beams and thinking of cedar shutters. I'll post soon-Thank You

I love the black windows. Painted brick with the black windows looks beautiful. I’ve seen it done on home makeover shows.

Exterior brick needs to breathe. I'd find another solution besides paint.

Could you post some pics of the house. Painting brick is IMO a last resort as it increase up keep forever and there is no going back. Where are you adding beams, mostly faux beams always look faux.

IMO shutters don’t usually have a place on a ranch style house but I will wait to see pics.

I'm attaching the color of our brick now, the style of windows we are looking at, and the house....this is a complete renovation inside and out. We also want to replace columns in front with cedar beams. My husband and I do not want to totally cover the brick up but are considering a light limewash. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thoughts were to do cedar shutters as well.
