I'd try a one quarter or i/3 tint of the window trim and dormer color. It's too jarring, and the roof isn't helping. I'm hoping your FIRST picture is the most accurate as they look quite different on the monitor, but yes it is too stark and jarring as of now.

Do NOT add yellow based warmth. Yes, the purchased paint can be altered. I think it will take some work......... the roof brown is going to make it harder yet.

That sure looks whiter than my foggy day. I'd have some paint darkened by 50% and see if you like it. White is too stark with your brick and trim.

I agree that it's too stark. None of the examples shown above have the amount of warm brick your home has.

I think it is too white, see if they can add some gray to it, to bring out grout color of the brick. Good luck!

I think it will be beautiful once done as long as you keep a nice trim color such as your inspiration photo and with the stone I think it will be very nice when done. Looking at it partially done I'm sure is a bit mind boggling since it is a vast difference from the existing color!

I do agree the one next to it is turning gray in tone.

I'd try it next to the trim before you decide. You might want it a little darker.

Unfortunately a little too white... Just a tiny bit darker! Beautiful house though!

I would try something about 2 or 3 shades darker than the bone color. I have a deep cream/grey color on my home and it looks amazing! With that color of brick, too cream/yellow might disrupt the flow of the home. I'd try something closer to cream/grey. Restoration hardware has a great color we used!

I have Foggy Day in my master bedroom. Its a cool light gray, not white.

It will be so beautiful keep going with the white!

Go with your gut, zoe4mom! Your instinct is spot on. The original white would look incredible, but your slightly tinted option is nice too. Be careful about going too dark, as you will lose the wow factor you're going for. Do not paint this house gray or greige, as some are steering you towards. It will make your house look like concrete. White is classic and timeless and works perfectly with the style of your home. It also will look fantastic with the bronze trim color you picked. Stick with your vision!
