Maybe somewhat out, but more than that, they are high maintenance.

My neighbor has very dark wood floors. She says she has to dust the floors at least once a day. The dark wood floors show every speck of dust, dirt and lint. She wishes she had never gotten them.

I still like dark and yes you will see dust marks quit easily

These are my two picks. They look similar I’m the pictures but one reads more grey. I am aware it’s high maintenance because I’ve always had dark floors. I thought they were pretty classic but a friend of mine told me she thinks dark looks dated.

Yes the darker floor the more you see messes of all kinds, but NO the look is not out as it might go with the home décor. Any color will have a cleaning. Dark or light you still have the same dirtiness.

Not impressed. They just look like heavily stained oak floors to me. I think walnut floors are a lot prettier

@zealart Walnut is much more expensive and I’m not doing engineered wood. I suppose if you had an endless budget you could do whatever you wanted right?

Maybe then a walnut stain? Of course with an endless budget I'd do what I want, most would.
