They've got to have an adjustable tension. It has to be set kind of stiff because it would be really dangerous if the wind takes a big door like that. A pivot door offsets some of the moving section that is effected by the wind

Its an off the shelf steel door. There are constraints due to the nature of the standard door. I was informed we can't use roller latches after all. I was also advised the self-closing hinges wouldn't be ideal either. I was told to look for a deadbolt that also latches. I feel stumped as can't find a simple solution online as of yet.
