False fresia under glass

Carol in Jax sent me false fresia seeds in May (thank you, Carol!) saying to scatter them and expect them to come up in January. Instead, I held onto the seeds and sowed some in pots in early November. They came up within days. I planted them when 3 inches high. First night some burrowing animal disrupted them, so I put them under this amber color glass thrift store find. It was, I guess, for a hanging light fixture but has a slight nick. Since the glass is dark and does not get much direct sun, I wonder how this will work out. At the least, it may keep the golden cosmos it envelopes from falling over.
