Are you quilting this weekend?

Hello Quilters! I started the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt this morning. Today is the Ohio State/Michigan football game so we are at DD's for DH and Jen to watch the game. I can't wait to get back to sew my blocks.

DS and family were here for Thanksgiving and left yesterday. We had a huge feast cooked by my son-in-law at their house. He sent lots of leftovers home with us too.

Hope to sew the rest of the weekend. Are you sewing or quilting?

Got the fabric cut for all the blocks for 4 quilts cut and have sewn the first 53 blocks.
Have to buy fabric for the sashing.

I sewed new leaders for my quilt frame this morning. Now I’m off to mark the centers and get my DH to help attach them to the frame.

I am trying to finish up a baby quilt for one of my employees. Then I want to work on a US map wallhanging that I am going to put my hat pin collection on. I buy a pin every where I go. I am just saving the BH mystery clues. I have promised not to start anything else until I finish a few odd things.

I finished a wall hanging for a friend on Thanksgiving morning as my machine was making clunking noises. After tearing out parts of the quilting, I decided it needed a tune-up, so took it in yesterday afternoon for a service. Hopefully, they thought it would only take a week. I may cut some fabric for some no-sew folded Christmas ornaments.

I've got the final borders ready to sew on this quilt top and the backing is washed and ready to piece, also I'm using flannel instead of batting again and it's washed and ready to piece. Joann's had a doorbuster sale on flannel so that's what I bought.

Not sewing but I did deliver a baby quilt to our new neighbours.

Cant really get started on anything new because I cant find what I want. The bins are stacked in the dining room, other sewing paraphenalia is on the fireplace ledge. But I do have a basket of strings, I just might start work on.
we have been told that work might start in Jan. But they didnt say which year.

Went to LQS yesterday and bought border fabric for the quartered striped quilt I've been talking about lately. Not only did I decide it was a masculine quilt, I decided I didn't like the border I picked out. Maybe I'll get it finished at some point.

I'm working on a wine purse/tote. It took forever to cut out all the pieces (fabric, interfacing, foam, insulbrite, peltex, etc) and apply the interfacing. (When did interfacing get so pricey?) It was going to be a party gift but after adding up just the supplies, it's way over the price limit. Now it'll be a either a keeper or gift for a really good friend.
