Vanity dilemma. Vitreous vs quartz

I am trying to narrow down a vanity for my powder room and have these 2 as my options.

Daughter and I like the white sleek look while husband prefers the Abbey in charcoal gray as its not open in the bottom and has quartz top.

I am not able to find a lot of info on the counter top/sink material for the 1st one, Ironwood.

What is vitreous china material and how is it compared to quartz?

This powder room will be used by kids and we need something that is more stain proof and easy to care and that's why every vanity with carrara marble was out :( :(

Attaching the picture of current powder room space.

Would really appreciate any insight and which of the above two will be a better option. Thank you so much.
