Please show a photo of the carpet and oak. That visual will not help a lot but can give you suggestions. Paint color selections must be done on site, in person.

Pacer White is more of an off white. Why not use that as your wall color and Pure White for the trim?

I'm a huge fan of silver drop by behr. I think it picks up gray and tan very well. We used it in our bathroom that has gray vanity and carrara hex tile floor and in our sitting room. Looks light gray in the bathroom and tan in the sitting room.
