Don't forget lamps. You need a 60 inch console, put a stool or a couple cubes beneath, add art OR a mirror. Lose the mirror in the stairwell for a centered vertical art and look for art that leases you for the rest. .......or a series of related prints.

NOTHING at the foot of the stairs intruding into the required open space landing. It’s bad enough that someone designed that to run into a wall. Art only in the active stair portion. And that includes the landings.
