Your new build is huge. Hire an architect, convey your issues, and get your dream bathroom.

Would it be an option to move the water closet down to this location so that he could have an extended vanity? He would lose some space for the built in's or you could move the toilet to the exterior wall and do the door opposite of the toilet.

You're not going to like this layout. You will be stuck in hallways and bottlenecks, get an architect ASAP or you will waste hundreds of thousands of dollars and be very unhappy.

We do have an architect but have been stuck here before moving on to more detailed plans. I like EVERYTHING he has done thus far except this layout. I will likely move the bedroom area entrance further back to have a longer hall to allow for a more visual statement with ceiling design and sconces etc... thx

If having a walkin closet is worth gloating about , it might as well be shown off'definitely. In this case, I feel you have to make your choice between a bathroom or walk in entrance. this is the first time I've seen a master suite with a lobby!? I removed the wall for the powder room sink for if you needed water for water bottles/exercise, its just a waste of material for practicality. I linked the master bath with the walk-in closet and with the removal of the separate entrance made more sink space. Any additional sprucing up can be done outside the bathroom. There's an extra hanger space for the days wardrobes and extended counter for colognes, perfumes and late stage grooming

Get an Interior Designer then. This layout is terrible.
