Our fireplace room has a tile floor installed by the previous owner, as well as dark blue walls. It would be expensive to change the floor, and I don't want to paint the brick, so I've been trying to decide what color to paint the walls, to warm up the room. I've tried a couple samples of taupe, but so far they look a bit pink next to the tile. Would a darker trim color help? Lighter? I am lost.
