I don't know what they are but my yard is full of them and they seem quite invasive, the cold weather has turned them brown maybe they will go away.

i was wrong about it blooming...that was a different plant near it.

That little green top is the bloom i think. They have wide spreading roots.

I don't find them on any list of common florida weeds which is annoying. The flowers do kinda look like shrimp plant or candle stick plant.

The things next to the silvery succulent? Seem to be purslane to me. If so it's an edible green (was planning on growing some as a summer green lol). There's always a few in my yard during spring to fall but never in the suffocating numbers spurges and chamberbitters are.

Edit: oh nevermind you meant the thing in the other pot. I've never seen them in my yard, theyre a southeast florida weed. pretty sure it's Blechum pyramidatum or Ruellia blechum/ Green Shrimp Plant. host plant of white peacock and malachite butterfly.

Jay, actually, the purslane-looking plants in the bowl are succulents rooting from a neighbor's profusely growing plant. We are wondering what the plant is that is among the orange kalanchoe. It is a hardy volunteer that so far, seems to serve no purpose except to keep me busy removing it.

i figure you saw my edit by now but yeah, all reports of green shrimp plant say it is very aggressive so i'd be pulling it too in most places lol
