My concern with #1 is the refrigerator location. It is not optimal for a work triangle. An advantage of #2 is the short walk, with groceries in hand, from the garage. I think #2 or #3 would be great options!

I like #2 the best, but is it possible to put either the sink or cooktop on the island? The layout would be much more convenient if you had a "triangle" workspace. We have an L-shaped kitchen similar to #2, but with our cooktop on the island. Works great and is an excellent layout for cooking, for one or two people.
