Lights and frying plan

I recently bought some lights and put together a simple rack system of T8 and T12 fixtures and bulbs all 'Daylight' if I am not mistaken. Each shelf has 2 fixtures across, Giving a pretty wide lighted area. And that is one bright lighted area.

Under these lights, am currently growing a mess of plants as the Seattle Gloom has gotten the best of them. Most of which are doing well, Echeverias, Brazilian Opuntia, a Grapto hybrid thingy, a Haworthia arachnoidea (maybe its an aloe), an african violet (that loves the light).

On the too brightside: several Haworthias, Haemanthus albaflos, Drimopsis kirkii.

Given that I have this super bright system what do I do with more tender plants like the Haworthias? is there a way of masking the tubes or blocking off some of the light? I would like to collect Haworthia, Stapeliods, Adromischus, and some Lithops in this rack.
