IMO the last choice for exterior is painted brick It keeps the brick from breathing properly and creates a maintenance issur forever. Why not post somrepics and maybe we can help with some ideas that do not involve painting the brick. It acyually IMO lowers the value of your house too.

If you are in an area with freeze-thaw, consider staining the brick instead or mortar smear. Less chance of paint popping and chipping.

I would paint the brick as a last resort. Maybe there are other ways you can update your exterior, post some pictures.

You could try this product. It’s an exterior, brick stain that needs no maintenance:

Congratulations on your new home!

Both colors you have selected are nice warm whites and either will be a great neutral base to work with!

The recommendation would be to select the color of the body of the house while also selecting trim color, shingle style and color, any exterior millwork stain, masonry, window color, door colors/finishes, light fixtures, patio finish, and railing. This will help you to determine which body color will work best with your full finish palette.

Best of luck with your project!
