I am renovating the kitchen that measures 12'w x 15'l x 8" h. There is no attic access so to have better lighting, we need to install a drop panel for the light cans. The one we chose only require about 2 1/2" yo 3" of depth. What depth should the drop box be in order to be in scale with the room?
