Both. Currently ordering MI for a project have completed a few with Milgard.

Both are high quality windows in standard color through white or taupe.

MI windows edged out Saran Wrap in the recent Consumer Reports findings.

MI or Metal Industries are the bottom of the barrel in windows, period. Simonton is a decent window but rather bulky. Milgard Tuscany is a decent to good product. Slding and or Bifold Doors I would look into Solar Innovations, Weiland, possibly Western. You need to spend on the Bifolds especially and get a good product as the inexpensive builder grades tend to have many problems. In fact with Bifolds, and sliders & windows to different extent I think you are better off having a window professional install these and not a GC or a framer.

Not a huge MI fan either. We have replaced quite a few of them over the years and I am always suspect of a company that makes mostly bottom barrel stuff and one nice window. Makes me question the business model.
