Just start with the vacuum and keep going....and repeat and clean the hvac ducts and wipe and do it again.....as my friend said to me when I was wringing my hands..."you think it will never be clean, but keep at it and it will."

I wouldn't use a house cleaning service, I would use a restoration service. The kind that cleans up after floods and fires.

Very interesting idea to use a restoration service. If that doesn't workout, I will just vacuum like a madman for a week straight, and pray that the nice film anderson windows has comes off cleanly and there aren't too many remaining stickers left.

I did my own new house cleaning a year ago before we moved in. It looked like a huge job, and I had friends offer to come help me. But i knew that nobody cared about it being done right as much as myself, I knew that if I did it then it would be done the way I wanted. A new house doesn’t need chemicals and cleaners, just a vacuum and some water. It’s easy cleaning and I liked learning to know every square inch of my house better.
