Any decoration tips to make it more homely and warm?

I think you need a rug under the dining table and something on the large wall as it looks terribly bare. Currently the space looks drab to me

Table needs to be centered with sloping wall...with 10 chairs it must be quite large...I can't tell how much room you actually have but if it fits put the buffet against sloping wall...you might have to take it out of the area. Mirror, large art and some something on the table like a large colorful bowl and candles would be nice. I agree you could use a rug.

Put the buffet on the other wall in the center, center the furniture, pull it up a little, buy a nice chandelier from lowes ( Allen Roth) brand they are beautiful make sure it is in the center of the table. Place a tall beautiful flower arrangement in the center under the chandelier. Put a mirror on the other wall with beautiful sconces on each side. Buy some matching place settings to go on you table and you are set!

Hello! A great mirror above the buffet would be great and will bounce light around the room. You could definitely paint that other wall an accent color as was mentioned above, and then add some metalwork. Metalwork pieces are a great alternative to art and add some impact at a large scale without overwhelming the space. Hope that helps!
