that's quite a few!..post pics as they grow..

Nice! That's a lot to get at one time. Are you potting them up, or do you have places outside already picked out for them?

Well, I saw your post and decided it was a sign to order something myself. I ordered another Tokudama Flavocircinalis because it was the one I ordered late last summer that has shown no sign of life. While I was ordering the TF, a Mouse Trap fell into the shopping cart. Haha. One more mini couldn't possibly hurt!

Never heard of this Hosta seller mentioned here. I emailed them some questions and will await an answer. ANYONE can sell hostas but your photos look like a whole pile of fabulous roots for those....and that is the big deal with hostas....ROOTS. Healthy roots.

Iordered from him several time last year. Wonderful plants and all came back bigger this year. The $6.00 shipping always encourages me to get carried away lol.

Wow will have to check them out! Gorgeous roots.

Mine have arrived. They will go in the ground today. Mouse Trap and my second Tokudama Flavocircinalis. There are 4 eyes on this one and giant roots.

popmama your photo reminds me of those cute pics of a Great Dane sitting by a Chihuahua. Those are mighty fine roots. Happy planting!

Ordered from Host-store before as well, great hostas!

Thanks for tuning me in to this source Raye. I now have 9 more hosta for less than $90 including shipping. Some were to replace losses, and some that were on the back burner. Sounds like he'll continue to expand his selections, looking forward to seeing what he has next year.

Their hostas look very, very good. But I filled in the "contact us" on their website asking for a little more "about us" info. Like how they ship, and precautions against HVX. Still no reply. Disappointed.

I bought mine through his ebay store old-cartoon-comics (it's the same seller). I know that has been mentioned in other posts on the hosta forum. Babka, you could try to ask a question through ebay and see if you get a response. The website looks a lot like one of those "easy build" websites and maybe the forms don't go to the right place.

Popmama- could be, BUT ... My problem comes from the lack of response to some very basic questions. If you are going to sell hostas online, darn it figure out a way for people to contact you. And have the courtesy to answer questions. I am a hard ass old Gramma.

Babka he always responds to my direct emails. I love doing business with him. I have gotten 40 plus plants from him all healthy. He digs, washes roots, wraps in wet paper towels and ships in post office two day shipping box, $6.00 no matter how many plants . I believe you can find his email on the eBay store. Something like weirdtornado. If you can't find it I will be glad to look back in my emails. I did email once on the forms on the website. It took several days to get a response and I don't think it was Mike that responded because he had already personally answered my questions through direct email.

Babka, let us know if you try one of the other contact methods and get answers to the questions you've posed. I probably have low expectations when it comes to technology. There's a lot that can go wrong. :-)
