Any comments welcome. What is you’re opinion of this rug?

My husband loves the rug, I don’t think it works for the room. I know the Animal print pillows need to go, you’re opinion is valued and appreciated. We need help!!

Each photo shows a different color rug…one gray and one teal.

Before you decide on a rug, post more photos of the space. I think your furniture may need to be rearranged first.

I like this rug! It’s original, not something you see in every store. I do agree that it might be easier to evaluate it if you show additional angles of the room. One question: do you need all that seating? Maybe the solitary chair could go?

I want to see more of those two white chairs, they look fab. What is the primary purpose of this room/ what do you do in here? I am assuming the focal point is the fireplace. How many people do you need to seat?

I like it. The color compliments all of the brown in the room. If this were my space, I'd look for twin glass coffee tables, so as not to obscure the rug's pretty colors. The colors of your room remind me of this PB room:

The rug is fine. You just need to bring some of the colors from the rug into your pillows. It already goes with your art.

I like the rug, I think what might be throwing you off is the size of the coffee table and/or placement of furniture. If you are open to a new coffee table, pick a bigger one that would ground the space more. If changing the coffee table is not an option, that’s totally fine! Work with what you have and rearrange furniture.

I also want to see more of the white chairs!

I like the rug a lot and think the furniture could be arranged to better advantage.

I like it... can you tell me where you got it? We will be looking for a rug soon, and that looks like it could go nicely with our room

    Thanks

Seeing the rug with the backs of the white chairs (yes, fab btw) I do think they are fighting with each other.

If you're open to rearranging, try the white chairs on each side of the fireplace with their backs to it (I know, sad not to be able to see the funnest part). Move the rug toward the window so the right couch legs are all on the rug, slide both couches toward the open doorway, and put the left couch legs all on the rug too. Your walkway into the room will be between the wall and couch. You might need to move the rug toward the doorway, to within 18" of the wall. Put the blue chair between the couches on the doorway side. Turn your desk to the wall to the left of the window. You'll still be able to see out the window as your chair will be in front of it, and you will also be able to see into the room.

Some tables will probably have to go.

Like the rug and the art. Room looks nice. Would probably want a few noticeable inches between each sofa and the wall behind it.

You don't have a lot of room to walk around/past the two white chairs to get to the living room. If you're trying different furniture arrangements anyway, consider putting the two white chairs near the fireplace -- perhaps even at the window where the desk now is. Then you could put the teal chair near the French Door; then put the desk, with the chair behind it facing the fireplace, against the wall opposite the teal chair, giving you more walking room where it's needed.

You might consider taller thin lamps with larger white shades for your end tables.

Pic colors may be off, however, at least from the pics on my screen, the wavy striped pillow colors could be called caramel on chocolate or vise versa.

IMO that blue in your room doesn't work with any of your other selections. The leather sofas are quite nice, but the robin's egg blue is so bedroom-like compared to the other furnishings. The art over the sofa is the wrong size to accent the stone fireplace. I would bring in an olive color as contrast not blue.

or maybe a rug like this and use orange as an accent.
