Probably wouldn't choose the nightstand in the second pic to go with the headboard in the first pic myself but if the headboard is gray, gray wood would work.

Were I buying new nightstand, I'd want to at least consider a pair of wood two drawer filing cabinets that lock instead -- or those with two filing drawers and one shallow drawer.

suezbell I had to update my post on the computer, the night stand in the 2nd pic is our current. Yes the headboard is a gray but in person it has a tint of green, originally we thought it was blue. Please look at third pic and we really dont like gray anything! Too bad we bought our house covered with gray walls and have 20 paint samples and nothing to show for it lol.
These are $300 each I just want to know we are making a good choice I wont have to change anytime soon.,
