I don't care for the light grey with your cabinets. It's too close in value to the cream. That shade doesn't work well with the cream. The darker grey might be a bit too dark with the counters. It's also kind of dreary. A grey with a touch of blue or blue green would work better. A crackle cream tile would be the most classic.

How did the cabinets turn out with such pinky beige undertones. Might be better to have a blend in the tile.

I will need to post a better photo in the morning. The cabinets look really white in person. A storm had just passed through and the sun was shining weird, so the above photo looks more beige than it really is.

The light grey is about the same color as your paint and doesn't work. It also looks like a grey stripe going around the middle of the kitchen I would go with a cream tile. It's light, bright, and classic and will not date the kitchen as the grey might.

Definitely nothing dark. Something that's close to the cabinet color would be my choice.

Is that ubatuba granite? If so what I lkke with it is a moss green tile.

The granite is silver pearl aka steel gray.

I like the lighter color much better.

I like the lighter tile, another option, could be done in a herringbone design. Lovely kitchen

Did you paint the cabinets or replace them? i have these cabinets and want to paint them but did not know what type of paint to use.
I like the blend of tiles. it give more texture and style.

We painted them. We used Benjamin Moore fresh start primer and Benjamin Moore advance paint. It was a lot of work. We started with tsp cleaner, sanded, primed and did three coats of paint with sanding between each coat. It was a lot of effort, but worth it!
