June, 2018 Quilting/Sewing Goals

Have you ever just looked at the number of the year and wonder how you got here? It just hit me that I'll be 78 in a few months and for the life of me, wonder when did that happen! I don't feel old, I feel tired a lot but not old! Oh you young 'uns....your time is coming. I'm ok.....really. lol

June is the beginning of hurricane season here in Florida which means we want to stock up on batteries and water and also have some quilting kits ready to take with us for hand quilting. :-)

My goals for this month are:

Finish
baby quilt for Jackie, do something with UFO #9 Balloons, Finish
elephant top, Prepare
Penny’s quilt backing, Work
on Halfway HST Blocks

First on the list is to get the basement organized. Everything was brought back down yesterday and because we have flipped what was in back to front and vice versa, it means a whole lot of rejigging. I am very lucky to have half the basement for my space and I would like it to be set up in a workable fashion. Next I would like to do a quilt or two for Jackie. I am also waiting for the two quilts for DGGDs to come back from the LAQ. That will mean binding. I think that will keep me busy for June.
