I'd like to see pictures with the darker floors if you have them. My personal opinion is that white(ish) is more in right now than taupe or any kind of dark gray.

Will take and post some other pics tonight. The house is empty now all that décor in pics was staged to sell it.

Paint should be based on your fabrics and textiles. While it is tempting to paint now while it is empty, you need to consider your furniture as part of the big picture. Paint can be custom blended to look great with your furniture, but fabrics are limited and can't be changed on a whim as paint can. Current pix of the room and of your own furniture will be helpful for us.

What colors do you have in your furnishings and art? That dictates what color you should have on your walls. Even tho they are freshly painted, I would not hesitate to change them according to what is in the room. Do not worry about what is "in" or not. Trends come and go- but your house will look fabulous, no matter what the wall color, as long as the wall color and all the furnishings and art work together well

Pretty much starting fresh- new furniture- so blank slate. maybe I should buy the furniture first and go from there. It is just tempting to paint before there is anything in the house

Looks like Revere Pewter and I love Revere Pewter. I have it in my living/dining/hallway. I used Kravet fabrics for upholstery and window treatments.
