I wish I could say I had experience with Black Krim, but I got a mislabeled plant when I tried to grow it last year. From what I understand, a real Black Krim is supposed to be about 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide; which is relatively short, particularly for an indeterminate. I'm not sure which other varieties you're growing, but it might just be that this one is shorter than the others. It looks pretty healthy from what I can see of it.

Is there any chance it is not actually a Black Krim, perhaps mislabeled if you bought it? It doesn't look like one and I have grown many of them. But assuming it has had no herbicide exposure as that would explain the symptoms, then I would bee looking into some sort of root damage as from gopher or soil pests.

I grew it from seed but there is always a chance seedlings got mixed up... However, it's unlikely herbicide damage. If it is it would have to have drifted over a 6 foot fence and not damaged anything else. I grow in raised beds and there are no gophers in Chicago that I know of... What kind of soil pest could cause this?

Voles, grubs, a bad infestation of fungus gnats, various fly maggots, weevils, etc.

No voles or weevils in this area. I dug into the soil around the roots and did not see anything unusual. Short of pulling up the plant and inspecting the roots, any suggestions? Spray with compost tea? Seaweed fertilizer? I'm most concerned this is a disease that could spread to the adjacent plants.

I may not have seen it well, but it looks healthy to me. I couldn't make out any of the yellowing you mentioned, but I would not be concerned about that leaf shape. My cherokee purple has the same curl but the other direction ('down' not 'up'). Has a dozen fruits on it and is still growing.

This plant is about half the size of the one next to it. It looks very stunted. Along with the leaf curl and some browning, it is not flowering/ fruiting while my other tomato plants are. I'm wondering if it could be from herbicide drift without damaging any of the adjacent plants?
