Painting New Home

Hi all,

We’re currently building a new home and I need advice. How many pint colors is too many? I am sticking to all neutrals, mainly white and greys, but I don’t know if I should be using the same colors in multiple rooms? I’m planning on white for all hallways, a warmer white for the living room and a light grey in the kitchen/dining. But what about the den and bathrooms and bedrooms!?

Hire a color consultant. There are SO many things to consider at the new build phase. Colors to stay away from because lighting might not be installed before the builder schedules in painters, etc.

Don't hesitate to hire one that works virtually.

Despite what many people think, it is possible. I did it for 14 years and the technology has just made it easier to execute. (I'm not doing any consultations at the moment, btw)

Lori, I would love your help! I must make a decision by tomorrow. Ive been all over your sights only to understand that I know nothing about color...uggg! I went as far as buying a color snap. I have posted several times in Houzz for help but have not received the answers that will guide me to the right decision. If your interested and have the time to help I would love to contact you.
