I love the look of a dark exterior with white trim. It would be especially dramatic on this long facade. Take a close look at the stone on the exterior and then choose your color.
And don't wait too long to redo the landscape....everything is too small, too low, too invisible for the size/width of the house.

Love the idea of the navy exterior with white trim suggested above. I agree the landscaping is too small, but think if you add a few larger annuals it will help fill in until landscaping matures.

That stone is too tan to use that navy color.

I'm always a big fan of charcoal, although I think the navy is fine with the stone.

I suggest deep taupe on the siding and maybe black shutters for a classic look.

Looks like your roof is brown so navy doesn’t seem like it would work. I️ had this same dilemma with warm brick, much redder than yours and a brown roof. I️ used a gray green (BM revere pewter) with help from Houzz and I️ love it. I️ tried more than six colors and put them on big poster boards to see how they would work. Highly suggest doing this.

I️ would take off the shutters too.

Please don't paint it navy or dark. Go light.

Take a good closeup shot of your brick material. Take it to your paint store. Match up some of the main brick colors to paint samples. Buy several paint samples and paint some board samples and study them for awhile. Don’t choose a color based on JUST what you think you like. Buy a paint color based on what looks best from closeup and from afar.

Please don’t line up shrubbery in a row. After painting, wait until fall or spring (weather and heat permitting). Plan your landscape and don’t be in a hurry. Wasting money on annuals in hopes of them “filling in empty spaces” is only an annual fix. Plan your landscaping for long term based on your zone.

I would remove shutters and make wide trim.

Taupe & remove my the shutters. I like rather subtle colors on houses, nothing too dramatic , I like to play up the landscape ....

The gold is an attempt to match the gold in the stone. All you need to do is to match a different color in the stone. On my monitor, the roof color looks a little on the cool and maybe even lavender side for the warmer stone. I don't think I'd want a color that makes the boxes around the large 1st floor windows pop. I'd want that trim to blend into the stone. I agree that the shutters are useless add-ons that you don't need. Your entry is setting a different tone than they are and you should let the entry lead the dance. Once you paint it, take photos to a landscape architect and get a new planting plan that you can install yourself.
