I would think a darker gray deck would be a good start, because in time it will lighten, but till than it will look very nice, finished and not unlike newly poured concrete would for the patios' of old. But on the other hand, if it is a close match to the home, from where you are looking at it, would probably be very nice too, and might be more ideal. Good luck. There is nothing nicer than a new deck!!

Mine matches the house color

Since the deck is horizontal and house vertical I think the color that almost matches the house would be fine or a shade darker.

One thing I wish I had done was have the edge of the deck & the edge of the steps a shade darker. Sometimes the deck blends into the steps & they're hard to see. There is a picture in the brochure

I think you might be able to add stain or just paint those edges with a white strip 2 inches wide, and that would help you out alot, jck910. They are doing that all over town here, where the sidewalks are succumbing to the summer drought temperatures and it keeps me from tripping! LOL
