Well I'll try again to post this...

Why do posts disappear anyways? I'm asking for some thoughts on this. I'm sandwiching this quilt with the blues, greens and purple Kaffe Fassett charm blocks. The background color is white on white. The only two pretty fabrics I had that I thought warranted using for the two borders have the gold almost metallic looking flecks and threads running through them. (Sorta Asian) I was wondering if I used a gold colored poly machine quilting thread if it would work. The fabric in the blocks doesn't have any of the gold in it but there are accents of yellows along with some other colors. If it's a bad idea to use the gold in the white background I could just use it in the colored blocks and use something else in the white. Please don't suggest using metallic thread, I tried that a couple of times and just can't get that to work right.
