If your wall color has a blue/green undertone to it while still being dark it will not feel overwhelming. Similar to the wall color below. With this color you could either pair it with a light colored bed to add some contrast, or natural wood tones if you prefer. Good luck!

Hi - I’m all for dark colors even in smaller spaces. There is a perception out there that dark colors make a room feel smaller, but they can also make rooms feel cozy. And a bedroom doesn’t have to feel huge either. I have a small office that I painted a rather bright red color, and I love it! I would take a look online at bedroom colors you like before you decide. Showing a picture of your room in its present condition would also help.
