The living/dinning area of my flat is narrow and open plan. The living room is next to the window followed by the dinning room, which extends to the kitchen area. I am worried that if I separate the two areas, then both rooms will look small, whereas if I don't it will be hard for me to decorate (decide where to put paintings on the wall, where I need new furniture, etc). The wall is now about 10 meters on each side. Any ideas?
