Crepe Myrtle Not Blooming (Phila PA area) ☹️

I planted this crepe myrtle on one side of my home 3 years ago. Last year, I moved it to the front of my home and it produced a few blooms, although they didn’t last long. Now it’s August and it hasn’t bloomed at all. I read that adding phosphorus may help. But I’m skeptical to try something that may further damage it. Help!!

Apart from the flowering issue you should give it a grass free area 2-3 ft. across until it is a lot bigger.

Maybe it needs to get bigger. Otherwise maybe it is not a good cultivar for your climate, with there perhaps being other crape myrtle selections that have been seen to perform fully there. Have you seen any other crape myrtles growing and blooming well in the same area?

They're in full bloom in Doylestown Bucks County.
