My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

A very delayed thank you

I hope I'm allowed to post thank yous in the DD forum! I was on here a million times asking everyone's advice about colors, layout, etc. when I was renovating my kitchen. I wanted to post today to ask about something else, and I realized that I never posted any update photos of it.


It was tough because of the layout of the kitchen (in a condo that has concrete subfloors and ALL of the plumbing for our unit and the one below running right behind the kitchen), but I was able to open up the laundry area and make some more room for a pantry cabinet and more cabinets/counterspace. Things I wish I had been able to do: A hood over the oven instead of a microwave, tear down more of the walls to open it up more.


I'm so happy with how it came out- I spend so much time in there. This renovation makes me really excited to tackle a nice BIG kitchen in a real house :)


Anyway, thank you so much for all of your advice! Here are some befores and afters. I took the afters at night because it was the only time I could do it and not have my toddler and dog in every photo. lol
