I think being of the same material but complimentary solid color would look fine. I just wouldn't mix patterns.

it all depends on what you're using. sometimes you can do different, sometimes you can't. just depends on your flooring, tile, countertops, color, patterns, etc.

it's better if you post pics of what you have and what you're thinking of doing instead of us trying to guess.

That tile on your shower is going to be very busy. are you sure you don't want to use something else? this is somewhat how it will look

And those pebbles are too beige looking for that gray tile. (at least in the pic they are) . But yes, you could use the quartz for the bench.

are the tiles White Oak ? what are the pebbles?

something like this may work better. (oh, and always seal the tops, tops only, of your pebble tile before they start install. trust me. seal them first.

I would use a large white tile in your shower, instead of that floor tile. if your floor tile comes in a mosaic, use that for the shower floor.

Change the counter top to an nice clean white Quartz and let the pebble.... (already a tired cliche ) sail into the sunset in favor of a deep gray porcelain mosaic . You will thank me in three years:)

If they are beige, try and get some in the gray that's closer in tone to your tile.

And just make sure you seal the tops first and make sure your tile guy knows how to lay them in a stagger pattern so that you don't get a grid looking floor. a lot of those pebbles will need to be removed and hand placed.

Your Silestone sample is a good choice if you want some pattern. The very fine speckles won't compete with the large-striped flooring. I would use it on the bench and tub top too. I'd look for a pebble that is in gray tones as the beige is too warm with the cool grays.
