I have black interior doors, not by choice, but to cover the reddish natural fir wood. With natural maple trim, looks good.

I Googled 'navy blue walls with black doors', and only came up with one image, of black French doors, not a solid one.

Black is a minimalistic color, sounds like you are trying to use many different colors. Navy and Black should be fine.

We painted all the interior doors in our house black. I think it would look odd to paint the doors black on the outside and white on the inside. We love the black doors and have a navy room as well.

Black doors was a trend the Kardashian's made famous many years ago, so I don't know that I would do black interior doors anymore. That ship, to me, has sailed. But to me what would be more dated is painting walls two different colors separated by a chair rail. No chair rails. And no two tone paint colors with chair rails. And no navy blue paint in a bath room. So I'm just going to go with no, I would rethink your design choices.

I have all dark gray doors but they all have pixelated glass so really more like a frame. I love them and IMO when they are open all the spaces have different colors in them and they all look fine.
