My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

We designed a contemporary kitchen that compliments the existing oak trim in the home. The massive island accommodates the homeowner who loves to cook while keeping an efficient work triangle. Textured high-definition melamine cabinets. Astoria granite on the island.

      It's on both sides. They didn't want a lot of seating at the island, but they wanted a lot of storage. Big cooks!

      My contractor used a loop vent. I don’t think the AAV vents are allowed here.

      @Tony Montana, this took about eight weeks from start to finish, but we ordered the cabinets prior to demo which saved us a few weeks.

      This is such an impactful transformation...it would be interesting to see a pic of the whole space ...it is hard to imagine how this was integrated ...is the whole space now super contemporary?

      @ritasj, thank you! I'll take some photos when the furniture and window treatments are in place. The natural stone countertop helps to soften the contemporary look, so it helps to lean the overall look more transitional, which is more in line with the furniture we selected.
