I used a thatching rake on the dead spots in my lawn. In the photo on the right, is the patch completed and further down not yet. We moved here last year and starting early July the yard gets torched most of the day as it faces east. Do I seed these areas now with cool weather seed along with my fall over seeding or wait until spring. I have patched up areas in both fall and spring in the past but not this large. I'm about 45 minutes west of Chicago. Thanks!
