your room design starts from the rug up. and though your mind may not register it, wood is a neutral color. i know, sometimes i don't feel like it either, but it is real and a fact, so you should just have lots of fun and remember don't look down til the rug is there!

Area rugs on the floor, plus furniture, plus art on the walls, and your eye will no longer be drawn to the contrast between just the floor and the walls.
