What is the size of the current rug? You need one big enough so that the front legs of each seating piece rest on it.

Using what you have, I would swap the blue/gray chairs and the leather club chairs. The coffee table is too small and people seated in the chairs can't reach it. Maybe place a c-table between the club chiaris once they are moved. You have space for a long table or cabinet behind the sofa.

Do the musical instruments live in that corner?

I agree with a bigger rug. The sofa and coffee table currently look too small for the space, for me. I agree if you moved the chairs to the sides of the couch (so they make a sideways C with the sofa) then you'd have the fireplace/tv have more focus and probably useablity.

I like the cream colored sectional, especially since is it similar to the one I own. :-) Is anything in the room remaining? Instruments, rug, chairs, tables, rug?

We agree with deco. Beverly has a good layout option though. You don't have to get a sectional. You could easily get a three seat sofa with two chairs on each side. You can also do two sofas with two chairs. The sofas would make an L shape.
