Paint Design Dilemma Polls

Paint fireplace very dark brown or white?

I don’t like oak. Walls are grey now but we are possibly changing to a beige later. Don’t want to wait because if I like “new” fireplace color may not repaint walls. White or very dark brown? The very dark brown paint swatches are taped to the mantle.

From the colors on my screen, I don’t see dark brown going with the stone surround; it looks more gray to me.

I think white, but u can do whatever you want.

With the stone fireplace surround and your darker colored furniture, I would paint it white to make it stand out and bring some lighter shades into the room.
