Well, I'd remove the red circled part and extend the existing upper story clear across to the left. But we're probably talking mucho dinero to do that.

Yes. We agree that we would want to extend the upper left side.

Any ideas for the walk up stairs. Currently you are only able to access stairs from the driveway but we are wondering how would it look if we extended it all the way down for curb/street level access. Would it be too much stairs? Any ideas on how not to make it look like all stairs? Landscaping design ideas maybe?

    Thanks

Stairs as you have them are just right. It would look awkward and overdone to bring them all the way out front when they are right next to the drive. I don't care for the sawtooth, jagged looking effect of the retaining wall cap. It should be larger, distinct levels, or possibly use sloping top. It would need to be explored. The larger yard looks vacant, the house naked and unprotected. Need some trees/landscaping. Slope probably would be better if groundcover where steep.

Your backyard, particularly, need some green growing stuff.

If you get rid of the dormer then get rid of the garage door and round window over front door. Paint only the door an accent color not the sidelights. You should find a landscape architect to help with the backyard. Lots of potential there

This is the yard. Pool is already in but looking to add pavers and possible mini pool house for a powder room and pool storage supplies. What type of services should I reach out to for adding an outdoor kitchen setup. I know I need a landscaper but if I can find a company that handles both that would make it easier for the flow of landscape design and patio.

Get rid of garage door? How do you mean? I still need a garage. What kind of garage door do you recommend?

    Thanks

Roxanne, I would get a garage door with windows that mimic the ones on the front of your house. In other words, maybe something similar to the windows in this photo.

Agree with chloebud, just meant a different style not literally "get rid of the door"

Oh okay. Yes. We agree. That’s on our list as well to change windows on the garage.

Back yard seems to have a lot of potential.

You need a landscape DESIGNER first. The landscapER follows the directions of the designer. Some landscapERS are designers, but you would have to know that up front and get verification of it by seeing examples of their work. A design/build company would do it all.

I would fix the roof line, add a pergola and upgrade the garage doors.

Update on our home. We bumped out the left side to create a master in suite bathroom and walk in closet. Changed all the windows. We added a 2 story entrance to create more character and dimension. We decided on a stucco and stone exterior. Changing front door to an iron door. And garage door will be squared out. Both doors will be installed last.
Back of house - again we moved and added and changed all doors And windows. We added a livable attic which is where you see the dormer pop up from roof.
It’s been a long process but I know that it will most definitely be worth it when it’s complete. Thank you all for
    Your responses and opinions.

    Some option for landscaping

@celerygirl love the stone steps. Great idea. I’ll pass this on to landscaper designer when we are ready to work that
