I wonder if you're transposing Cornus florida Spring Grove (discovered in the Spring Grove Cemetery) and Cornus mas Spring Glow? If you're after the latter, Far Reaches Farm has sold it in the past. They are very nice folks and I'd email them and see if, though they don't currently list it as available for sale in their catalog, they might have a single plant they could sell.
