IF YOU ARE RELOCATING THE DINING SPACE, THE EASIEST WAY IS TO DIVIDE THAT SPACE TO A MUDROOM AND A HOME OFFICE MAYBE.

Agree with paroxysm studio. I’m no expert but the living room looks pretty big. Could you somehow divide it and have the dining room at the back end. Could you take out the wall where the double doors Lead into the living room and have more space for the dining room? Looks like you already have a good size eating area next to the kitchen and a large family room.

Is that mudroom big enough to have a good size cubbies / bench unit?

Parox Studio has a good plan. There is plenty of room for coat hooks and shoe/boot storage on the lower recessed wall area. Your current eating area is a nice size for a round table and chairs. Houzz has a chart for space requirements and seating numbers for several round table sizes. My 45” round table seats 6-7 easily, with plenty of space for moving chairs out and in.

Would you be willing to knock down wall (if you can) between dining room and powder room?

If so you could have a good sized (approx 12x7) Utility room (laundry, cubbies, storage). You’d lose flow from office to kitchen but you’d gain direct access to powder room.
