I"m glad you found a scented detergent that makes you happy. :) Scent is one of those things that really stirs up memories. It does have a scent that seems to me one either likes very much or not at all. Hubby loves the scent, whereas me, I'd rather not have to smell it, ever. Funny how that happens.

Just want to give a head's up that Tide Pur Clean liquid detergent can be a suds maker. With a new Electrolux washer on the way (assuming it's a FL), you will have to monitor how well your washer handles the suds. If your water is hard, you will have less of a problem. For me, with soft water and a full fill top loader (implying I should have less issues with suds than a FL owner), it's a groan worthy event when I use the small bottle gifted to me. Anyhow, I'd suggest to turn on the extra rinse function either way. when using it going forward to avoid any build up in the new washing machine. You should be fine then.

It seems to clean well, even at the minuscule doses we have to use due to sudsing for us, but those suds...

I agree with SEA Tide Pur is very verrrrry sudsy in a front loader. I would proceed with caution if you use it in your new Elux.

Yes a hint. Line drying or on hangers and it's a bit stronger. I do like the scent but just can't use it except for a soak in the sink so I use it to sink wash my bras.

I use my stash for the same, mamapinky - hand washing bras in the sink. Ha! Does a lovely job (although unscented for me.)

When I bought it I didn’t realize the Pur isn’t HE Turbo...not sure if this is why it’s causing too many suds for me or whether it’s just liquid Tide in general as I haven’t tested any others since I got my new washer.

Annette, I saw your other thread on the red blankets. No laundry tips to add but I just wanted to say your guest room looks so cozy and welcoming. My cat loves fleece and would be similarly perched, claiming the room as her own. :)

Lol, the cat has claimed this as her sleepy spot. Oh. And the red blankets did bleed to the white fleece side. No biggie, they are cozy nonetheless.
