Fireplace flanking dilemma.....sides are not equal.

We are still in the process of moving in and decorating. I have a fireplace that is naked on either side. The problem is the left side of the fireplace is 44" wide and the right side of the fireplace is 67" wide. I thought about putting a cabinet on either side but thought it would look strange with so much wall showing on the right.


What would you do?

    Place matching items on each side and then place a narrow plant at the window side to take up the balance of the space or stack drapery panels at that side
