what are the rules for the size of a console table in the entryway and the mirror above it? the height of the ceiling is 8 feet. I posted the picture of the wall. to the left is the entrance to the kitchen and to the right is the stairs and front door. I am in the process of getting my floors done hence the floor vent missing. when I measured the wall, I measured from the end of the floor vent to the end of the wall before the side of the stairs. the measurement was 59". also will put a round mirror above. how big should that be? I want to make sure all my new furniture is balanced with the size of the walls and room. also plan on getting a rustic wood look in either brown or black.
