Hi Kim,

As long as you seal the tile & grout, it should stay pure white for a good while - I'd suggest thoroughly cleaning and resealing it periodically unless you don't mind that the grout will get a little darker as it ages.

A good alternative is to do a light gray but you'll still want to seal any grout regardless.-

a lot of OFF-white or light gray shades will work with light tiles. A hand made tile likely would not look that good with stark white anyway.

Epoxy grout is a choice to avoid staining and sealing, etc.

Unlike cement grout, which is made from a cementitious powder mix, epoxy grout is made from epoxy resins and a filler powder.

Great thank you it makes the decision easier. I love the contrast grout, but in my application in an narrow open concept I find the white grout less jarring in the samples. SKmom, BTW we had our entire kitchen cabinets sprayed in a very similar blue color to yours with matt brass handles and it is stunning!

Do a very light gray. Not white. Not high contrast dark gray. Bright white tends to look off against many white tiles.

Use a urethane or acrylic based grout. Not cement based. It won’t need sealing.

I agree with Green Designs. Here is my Platinum grout on my white tile. A white would have made the tile look grey

Just seal it and you'll be a-ok!
