Q for Linda (Zelda quilt)

Linda, I'm going to tackle you're wonderful Zelda quilt. I've printed the directions from your blog, but the link to the sword and shield block is not working. Can you fix it or send me the directions? I also didn't find directions for sashing sizes, etc. Only the blocks. Is there anyone other info I'm missing.

I plan on making it for a friend's son who is graduating high school. I sent her a pic and asked if she thought he would like it or was it too young. Instead of giving me an opinion, she showed him and asked him. So now it's not a surprise and now I have too make it for sure - by June 2.

Your directions are so detailed and the photos are so helpful. I'm hoping I can make the board, etc to make it easier. Thank you!

I found the page for both the sword and the sashing. I think I have all the patterns now.

11 blocks and sashing etc directions. If I'm missing anything else, please let me know.

How did you end up quilting it? What is the finished size?

Bev, I will have to check it out. It’s been a few years since I made it. I quilted it with a meander all over. I gave it to a young man who lives in New Hampshire so I haven’t seen it since I finished it.

i don't know if the links to the fabric still work. That may have changed too.

Too bad that you don’t live near me, I have an extra board.

I still haven't finished mine. I think I was up to the last couple of things to make. They are still laying on the cookie sheet with the info. When I get back from retreat, I should get it out and refresh my memory. :-) You'll have fun making it, Bev.
